Update from the Memorial Commission
Following our statement in response to the media coverage on the future of Grenfell Tower, we have written to the newly-appointed Secretary of State at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to seek clarity about the Tower’s future.

Come to our drop-in
Meet some of your community representatives in person at our informal drop-in on Saturday 4 September, 12 to 4pm, at the Clement James Centre, 95 Sirdar Road W11 4EQ. Family and children's activities (as pictured above at our July drop-in) and refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome. We look forward to meeting you and hearing your ideas about a memorial.
Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission visit to Aberfan
In July 2021, four of the Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission community representatives, Sandra Ruiz, Hanan Wahabi, Susan Al-Safadi and Andrea Newton, visited Aberfan in south Wales as guests of The Aberfan Memorial Charity - the Memorial Garden is pictured above.
